    1. Open the Minecraft Launcher and click on Edit Profile, then go down to Use version and select Release 1.8, then click save profile and hit play. Enter the server or make a new world then close out of the game window.

    2. Install the Forge mod and click the .jar file directly after downloading:

    2. Download the GLSL Shader's Mod and click on the .jar file directly after downloading:

    3. Choose the versions of Sonic Ether's you want installed and drop them in C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\shaderpacks still in their .zip file format:

    4. From there launch Minecraft again and make sure in the bottom left where it says Profile, it says 1.8-Shader's Mod. Launch the game and head to Options=>Shaders=>SUES-version. Then you're good to go!

    5. To install the ChromaHills Resource pack, head to http://www.chromahills.com/forum/downloads.php
    and download the 1.8 version of minecraft and drop it in
    C:\Users\Youname\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks
    in it's .zip file format. Then choose it in resourepacks in game and you'll be all set.
